Art History Honors Program
Students who have a GPA of 3.7 or higher in the art
history major are encouraged to follow the honors program and write
a thesis in their senior year. Students who complete the honors
thesis receive departmental citation, and if their overall grade-point
averages qualify them, high or highest honors. Students pursing
the honors program may decide at any point not to progress further,
without penalty. They will receive credit for all components of
the honors program taken to that point.
